World Book Day is on Thursday 6^th March 2025. The focus is Read Your Way which calls on everyone to let go of pressure and expectations, giving children a choice and a chance, to enjoy reading. 

We have chosen to focus on the story If I were Prime Minister by the author Trygve Skaug.

Through this fun picture book, we will encourage the children to dream big and look at the world with fresh eyes! The book treats profound topics with sensitivity and care and will introduce the themes of democracy, debate and citizenship, all through the eyes of a child.

This day will be a normal school uniform day but like the character in the story we would love children to wear their favourite pair of shoes, bring in a teddy and their favourite book to share!
