Welcome to St Andrew's

St Andrew's Church of England Infant School is officially federated with Sherington Church of England Infant School

We are federated with another small village infant school - Sherington Church of England Infant School in Sherington, Bucks. We are known as The St Andrew's and Sherington Village Church Schools Partnership. This means we work closely sharing our vision and values across both sites and this enriches what we offer all of our children.

I hope that as you read our school website you will get a flavour of life at St Andrew's.

We aim to provide a rich and varied curriculum so that pupils of all abilities are helped to achieve their full potential in a friendly and purposeful environment.

We pride ourselves in our caring ethos – our classes are small and each child gets the opportunities they deserve.  We have excellent links to the community of which we are the heart.

Please do not hesitate to contact school for further information or to arrange a visit to see St Andrew's for yourself: you will be very welcome.

School uniform is available from www.schooltrends.co.uk on a non-profit basis you can also buy the items without the school logo at all major supermarkets.

We ask you to ensure all items of school clothing and footwear are clearly marked with your child’s name.

PE and games kits should be in a suitable named bag.  The children can keep their PE bag in school on their cloakroom peg.

In the very cold weather we ask that the children wear tracksuit bottoms for PE outside.

Lost property – a central collection of lost property is kept in school.

For Health and Safety reasons we ask that children DO NOT wear jewellery for school.  Children are not allowed to wear ear-rings for their P.E. lessons – they must be removed or covered with a plaster.

Thank you for your support in this matter.
