Home learning for today

English: Starting point – using the photographs from our Linford Lakes trip on 12th May 2021 (these are on the class Facebook group already), choose one photograph, write a sentence to explain what is happening. What were you/we doing? Remember to use your capital letters, finger spaces, Fred Talk the sounds you can hear and use a full stop.

Maths: Starting point – can you remember what a repeating pattern is? Red blue red blue. Clap jump clap jump. Look around your home, can you find any repeating patterns? Maybe on a clock face, floor tiles or make one using Duplo bricks? Can you use a camera to take a photograph of the repeating pattern? Ask a grown up to help upload it on the class Facebook page and type what you say about the pattern e.g. Bob found a repeating pattern on the carpet, “pink yellow pink yellow. That is a repeating pattern because it’s the same again. It repeats from pink. I think pink will come next… now I am going to make my own!”

Please also join our Dragonfly whole school story time on Zoom today at 11am. The link has been shared on our Facebook group already.
