World Book Day 2012

Thursday 1st  March is World Book Day.  We will be celebrating this event on Friday 2nd March.

The children are invited to donate £1 to come to school on the Friday dressed up as their favourite

character from a book.  On this day they will be given a World Book Day £1 book token.

Dear Parents

Gardening Club

As of the 5^th March 2012 Gardening Club will replace Computer Club on a Monday afternoon.  It will run between 3pm -3.45pm.  The last class will be on Monday 26^th March.  Please would the children bring their wellies to school on a Monday.

The club will involve the children, clearing, planting, looking after and harvesting seasonal fruit and vegetables.   As well as this the children will learn the importance of caring for nature, including planting plants for wildlife to enjoy. 

While this will be a free club, we would welcome any contributions of seeds or compost that you may have.

If your child currently attends the Computer Club and would like to join the Gardening Club when it starts, please complete the slip below and return to Louise.    If your child does not attend Computer Club, but would like to join the Gardening Club if there are any spare places again please complete the form below.  Many thanks.
