World Book Day 4th March 2010
All the children - and staff - came to school dressed up as their favourite character from a book. We raised money for Book Aid International. Every £2 raised will help send a book to a library in an African country. During the day we took part in various different activities, including making a book, role play, making a book mark and drawing our chosen character on the computer and writing about it.

Memory Boxes
February 2010
The children were asked to put together a Memory Box to bring to school. The boxes were to contain a few items that provoked memories from when they were younger. Some of the boxes were very attractively decorated.
As part of the curriculum the children have to develop their speaking and listening skills. The children had to talk to the whole class about their items and memories, they had to speak clearly, whilst the other children had to listen carefully. There were many interesting stories from the children about their memories.
